CAN MY GIFT PURCHASE BE SENT DIRECTLY TO THE RECIPIENT?
Yes. We can ship your gift to a nominated street address which is different to the billing address. Just be sure to put your recipient name and address in the Checkout field & ensure the email address is yours NOT the recipients' so billing receipts go to you. Also, please write a comment 'GIFT do not include invoice', in the comment field to ensure a physical invoice is not sent to your recipient.
DO YOU SHIP AN ORDER TO MORE THAN ONE ADDRESS?
To help everyone keep track of orders, an order cannot be split for shipping purposes. If you would like to purchase for yourself and also for a gift deliveries to different addresses, you must place each order separately. Please note that as every item is individually gift wrapped, we can ship a parcel to one address containing your individually gift wrapped items and handwritten cards.
WHY DON’T YOU SHIP TO PO BOXES?
We do not ship to PO Boxes as all our parcels are shipped with “signature on delivery”. If you have specific instructions for your parcel - to a physical address, please write a comment in the comment field upon checkout.
CAN I COLLECT MY PURCHASE FROM HUMMINGBIRD SWEET THINGS?
At the moment we cannot accommodate pick ups. All orders will be shipped in accordance with our Shipping Policy. Please refer to our Shipping Policy if you require more information.
DOMESTIC DELIVERY (AUSTRALIA)
From time to time, we may offer Free Shipping. During such time, all orders will be shipped using regular post and may require a signature on delivery. Delivery will take between 3-6 business days.
We charge the following rates to ship your order using the standard Australia Post network:
Small Parcels: $10.00
Medium Parcels: $17.00
Large Parcels: $25.00.
At our discretion, or by agreement, orders shipped within Australia may be sent out using the Australia Post Express Post network. Express Post guarantees next business day delivery for all metropolitan areas within the Express Post Delivery network in Australia. For regional areas, delivery will take between 2-3 business days. Please contact us to discuss express delivery of your purchase. Your signature will be requested upon delivery.
Orders received by 1pm AEST on a business day will be dispatched within 24 hours pending credit verification. Orders made on a Saturday, Sunday or Public Holiday will be processed the following business day. During sales and peak times there may be delivery delays and our Customer Service will keep you informed.
As Hummingbird Sweet Things dispatches all orders from Sydney, if we receive your order on a NSW Public Holiday, it will not be processed until the following day.
A shipping confirmation will be emailed to you once your order has been shipped.
If no one is at your shipping address when the attempted delivery is made, then Australia Post may leave a notification with details for collection from your local Post Office. In this instance, please note that identification will be required.
All customer orders are shipped in good faith and subject to the terms and conditions of the shipping service provider. Hummingbird Sweet Things shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage of any kind whatsoever arising from errors or omissions.

For orders shipped internationally, please be aware that goods may attract additional duties and taxes at the port of entry of the country the goods are shipped to. This is the responsibility of the customer.
Whilst we will endeavour to fulfil international orders, we do not take any responsibility for delivery delays that may be encountered and extra fees, customs or duties levied by a foreign jurisdiction.
WRONG ADDRESS, NON-RECEIVED GOODS & RETURNS
If the item is not received and sent back to us by the postal service company you will be charged the actual shipping fee (not according to the above table). The price of the item, less any actual fees and charges, will be credited once we receive the item. We will contact you to inform you when we receive the package.
