EXCHANGE POLICY
To exchange an item the following conditions must be met:
An intention to exchange the item must be emailed to Hummingbird Sweet Things at contact us within 48 hours of receipt of product. You must notify us of the reason for the exchange.

At this time, Hummingbird Sweet Things will advise a return authorisation number.  The item to be exchanged must be returned in new & unused condition and in the original packaging with original swing tags and/or Hummingbird Sweet Things swing tags attached. Where provided, any designer packaging such as dust bags and swing tags must be included with the returned item.

Any exchange items that are damaged, marked or altered will not be accepted and may be sent back to the customer. The item must be delivered to us no later than four (4) business days following the issuance of a return authorisation number. Items received outside this period will not be accepted.

The item(s) to be exchanged must be shipped back to us with the return authorisation number together with a copy of the email correspondence. All postage costs associated with exchanges are payable by the customer. Shipping charges or any related expenses (such as but not limited to custom fees and duties) cannot be refunded.

We recommend Australian customers send their returns by Australia Post Express Post with signature on delivery and insurance. Please ensure your item is received by Hummingbird Sweet Things within the accepted time frame. Hummingbird Sweet Things will not be liable for any returns that are not received or are lost in transit. Final sale items and special orders cannot be exchanged unless they are faulty. Due to health regulations, earrings cannot be exchanged unless they are faulty.

Any items received without a return authorisation number or that do not comply with the above may be denied at the discretion of Hummingbird Sweet Things. You will be notified by email once your return has been received and processed.

Once your package is received by Hummingbird Sweet Things, your exchange shall be processed immediately. Any item exchanged can only be for the same or greater value.  Hummingbird Sweet Things cannot be held liable for any items lost in transit. Please note that special orders and sale items cannot be exchanged except where faulty.

FAULTY ITEMS
All orders are packaged with care. However, if you feel you have received a faulty item, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your item. We will need a photo of the item in question and a description of the fault. We do not cover damage caused by delivery. Genuine faults will be discussed with the manufacturer and may need to be returned to the manufacturer overseas to carry out necessary repairs.

Items are classified as faulty if they are received damaged due to a manufacturing fault. Please note that items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear or damaged by the user are not considered to be faulty. In accordance with Fair Trading legislation, where possible, we will offer to repair faulty items. In most cases, we will liaise with the brand in question for assessment. In some cases the item may need to be returned to the manufacturer overseas to carry out the necessary assessment and repair. If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact us
